Meet Our New Team

Now that summer break has come to a close and we are kicking off the school year, the OU Food Pantry is officially open for business with our regular hours! We are open from 8am-6pm on Tuesdays and 10am-6pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Our new team is working hard and set a record this week with 782 client visits between our regular hours and our Career Closet event with OU Career Services. Read more about that below!!

Pantry Pickleball Tournament!

Join us for the OU Food Pantry Pickleball Tournament this Fall Family Weekend. The tournament will begin at 8:00 pm on Friday, September 13th. Your $20 registration fee serves as a donation to the pantry. Once you have signed up for your duo, you can expect to receive an email with more information about playing times the week of the event. Anyone is welcome to sign up, so bring your friends and family!

The LAST DAY to sign up is Sunday, September 8th! We will also have concessions and activities for everyone at the event. We hope to see you there!!

Red River Food Fight

It is with great pleasure that we announce the return of the Red River Food Fight, this time, as champions! This event is a month-long food drive competition between the UT Outpost and the OU Food Pantry. Starting on Tuesday, September 3rd, our pantries will be collecting all donated, shelf-stable food items to be counted towards our individual schools’ tallies. Ending on Saturday, October 5^th, the school with the most food items by total weight will be announced as the Red River Food Fight Champion on the day of the Red River Rivalry football game (Saturday, October 12^th). If you want to help contribute to OU’s donation total, you can click the button below to donate to our Amazon wish list and have your donation delivered straight to the pantry! Help us get another win against Texas - every donation counts!

Career Closet

The first Career Closet of the semester was one to remember! We provided a total of 218 people with professional clothing for the upcoming semester. Our next Career Closet will be this Friday, September 6th! We are always accepting donations of professional clothes for future events like these at the OU Food Pantry if you have anything you would like to bring in. A huge thank you to the Career Center for working with us on this event and to everyone who came!
